F.6 Parents Night

In the evening of 7th July, our F.6 Parents Night was held successfully with the help from our dedicated parents from the PTA. Many of our F.6 Parents benefited from the event by absorbing useful information regarding the HKDSE Result Releasing Day. They also gained insights into how to journey through this fateful day with our F.6 students by providing emotional support along the way. At the end of the event, they wrote their encouragement for their sons on a specially designed board that spell out the word “LOVE”, showcasing their love and support for our F.6 boys.

Water Rocket Competition (F.2)

On July 7th July 2017, an exciting Water Rocket Competition was held in the school playground as a post-examination activity for all the F.2 boys. They first attended a lecture learning all the fundamental physics principles behind rocketry. Then they were put in groups of 4 to5 students. Each group had to design their own water rocket that would propel as far away from the ground as possible based on what they had learned. The objective of this activity was to raise students’ interests in science and to encourage them to put “Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics” (STEM) knowledge into application. Despite the hot weather of summer days, all the participating students and teachers really enjoyed the fun and the water splashing.

Seminar for F.6 students

Before the fateful DSE Result Releasing Day, our school put together a seminar day for our F.6 students on the 7th of July. Teachers from our Counseling Committee and Careers Guidance Committee helped the attendees to learn how to technically, tactically, mentally and emotionally prepare for the release of DSE results. The F.6 boys also got to share their concerns and worries. The event was successfully concluded followed by an evening event for the F.6 parents.
