F.1 Parents Gathering 2017

The F.1 Parents Gathering for 2017-2017 was held on the 23rd of September. 130 parents attended a seminar introducing our academic structure as well as the extra-curricular activities. Parents were also provided with advice to help their sons cope with new school life in secondary school. Our Counselling Master Mr. Ching was there to give a special talk on Positive Communications, which stressed the importance of positive education. After the seminar, parents had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with all the S.1 Form Teachers while the students visited promotional booths set up by various school teams and clubs. We would like to thank our F.1 parents, whose active participation made the gathering a meaningful and fruitful event.

Inauguration of Clubs and Teams 2017-18

The chairmen of all clubs and the captains of all school teams for the academic year 2017-2018 were inaugurated on the 21st and the 22nd of September respectively.

They received badges from our principal Mr. Iu and after they put on the badges, they were officially inaugurated. It means that they are willing to shoulder the responsibilities and will try their utmost to run the club and team affairs throughout the whole year.

Congratulations, all chairmen and captains! May you have all the wisdom and strength to organize various meaningful activities for members and lead the school teams to victories.

House Inauguration 2017-18

The committee members of all four houses for academic year 2017-2018 were inaugurated on the 19th of September 2017. During the ceremony, house committee members of the previous school received the Certificates of Appreciation for their dedication and hard work. It was then followed by the introduction of the new house committee members. They are:

All the house committee members received their badges from our principal Mr. Iu and after they put on the badges, they were officially inaugurated. The ceremony was concluded by the passing on of the house flags to the new committee members to be shown in front of all students.

Mainland Study Tour 2017

Twenty F.4 and F.5 students were invited to join the Guangzhou Study Tour organized by The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce during 15-16th of September, 2017. Throughout the two-day trip, students visited companies of various sectors, such as those that made food commodities, medical supplies and high-tech products. They also visited one of the main campuses of the Guangzhou University. Through the trip, students not only gained insights in their understanding of Mainland China but also broadened their horizons in the planning of their future studies. All participants expressed that they treasured this opportunity to open their eyes to the advancement and modernity of Guangzhou.
