STEM activity: “Physics in Motion” Course in Ocean Park
To nurture students’ learning interest and to enhance their creativity, collaboration and problem solving skills in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), more than 30 F.4 Physics students were arranged to take a field trip to Ocean Park on 13th May 2017. There, they got the opportunity to apply their knowledge in Physics to understand and experience first-hand the mechanics behind the thrill rides! Through the rides, they collected data and took videos for movement analyses. Finally, in the workshops, students had to solve problems and create their own experiment using their knowledge in Physics. All in all, it was a fun, exciting and very educational experience.
