26 November 2015 was a poignant day for the Xaverian community as we bade farewell to Rev. Bro. Bosco Wei, our 4th Principal. Bro. SFXC60 Open Day

The SFXC 60th Anniversary Open Day cum F.1 Admission Information Day

The 60th Anniversary Open Day, being one of the most significant events of our school’s year-long anniversary celebration, was successfully concluded. It was commenced with a grand opening ceremony graced by many honored guests. Visitors like SFXC alumni, students from other schools and curious members of the public then joined in the fun orchestrated by various Open Day activities and exhibitions. At the same, parents and prospective students attended the F.1 Admission talk, which provided them background and admission information of our school. The whole event ended on a high note when all Xavierians, young and old, banded together to sing the school anthem in unison. This harmonious picture indexing the strong bonding of brotherhood surely has impressed visitors near and far.

We are deeply saddened to announce that Rev. Bro. Bosco Wei (1928-2015), the 4th Principal of St. Francis Xavier’s College from 1975-1994, passed away at 5:30 a.m. today (15 Nov) at the age of 87. May we pray for the repose of his soul.

The wake will be at 6 p.m. and the Requiem Mass at 8 p.m. on 25 November (Wed) at Kowloon Funeral Parlour. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on 26 November (Thu) at St. Francis of Assisi Church.
