This year, our Gatekeepers, a group of 39 students from Forms 2 to 5, are dedicated to fostering a supportive environment that promotes mental health and emotional well-being at school.
On October 5th, they took part in a day of adventure training, aimed at strengthening their teamwork and skills for their vital role in mental health promotion. One highlight was zip-lining across the school playground, where they pushed their limits on the high ropes with guidance from instructors, as their peers encouraged them. This challenge fostered trust within the team.
In another exercise, they climbed a tall, narrow pole with their teammates securing the base. Through communication and teamwork, they reached the top, reinforcing their bond.
The day enhanced the Gatekeepers' leadership skills and strengthened their commitment to spreading wellness messages throughout the school.
