On the afternoon of October 3, 26 of our Senior Form students had the remarkable opportunity to visit the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong. The visit was both educational and inspiring, providing students with valuable insights into medical education and career paths.
We were honored to have our alumnus, Professor Chung Pui Hong, shared his insights into the medical field, inspiring our students to pursue their passion for medicine. Students attended informative admission talk about the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Nursing programs. These sessions provided essential information about the application process and the unique opportunities offered by HKU's Faculty of Medicine.
Additionally, students participated in an AR Education Workshop in Ophthalmology. This hands-on experience allowed them to better understand the symptoms of various eye conditions and the critical importance of effective treatments.
The visit concluded with another enlightening sharing session from our recent graduates, Mr. Winston Wong and Mr. Ryan Lam who are currently enrolled in the MBBS program. Their first-hand sharing of their experiences at HKU offered our students valuable perspectives on what to expect in their future studies.
We are grateful for the opportunity to connect our students with such esteemed individuals and institutions. This visit not only broadened their understanding of the medical field but also inspired them to consider their future paths with enthusiasm.
