Pre-Final Examination Revision Class 2017-18

To help F.1 to F.5 students prepare for the final exam, F.6 graduates, after sitting for the HKDSE, were invited to come back to be the tutors for their younger brothers. During the two weeks of revision period, tutors and participants reported to the hall at 3:30 p.m. and did revision in small groups until 5:30 p.m. More than 100 students participated and around 20 F.6 tutors helped in the revision sessions. We are grateful for the volunteer service provided by our graduates. Their effort will certainly help boost our boys’ exam performances.

Champagnat Day 2017-2018

As a tradition for a Marist School, we celebrated the Champagnat Day on 6th June, 2018. We had a holy mass to commemorate St. Marcellin Champagnat, the founder of the Marist Brothers. Celebrating with us, were visiting Brothers and teachers from Catholic High School of Sibu, Malaysia and one of our benefactors Mr. Poon, who donated 100 thousand dollars to the school for development at the end of the ceremony.

After the mass, students were free to engage in a host of activities prepared for them. Though the bad weather forced us to cancel all of the out-door competitions, there was no shortage of fun for our students to enjoy the last school day before the final examination.

F.6 Graduation Ceremony 2017-2018

The Graduation Ceremony 2017-2018 was successfully held on 26th May 2018. This year, we were honored to have our alumnus Mr. John Yeung, the Senior Assistant Commissioner of St. John Ambulance Brigade, as our guest of honor. Our school hall was filled with supportive parents, teachers and alumni from different generations to witness this important moment for our F.6 graduates. After the ceremony, our F.6 boys will be on their ways to different paths. May God guide them in their careers and help them to live a full life that exemplifies the school motto, “Gentle in Manner, Resolute in Action”.

Brother’s Day Celebration 2018

Staff from SFXC and SFXS gathered together in the Brothers Quarter on the Brothers’ Day on 18th May to pay our respect to the Marist Brothers. Teacher representatives from both schools presented souvenirs to the beloved Brothers and had a wonderful fellowship together. We wished all the Marist Brothers, both here and in overseas, good health and many more years of well-being.
