On 30th May 2025, we were honored to welcome back four distinguished alumni—the House Captains and Vice Captains from the academic year 1996–97—for an inspiring and heartfelt sharing session. The event featured Mr. Chan Kam Cheong Michael of Yellow House, Mr. Fung Kwan Hang Brian of Blue House, Mr. Mok King of Red House, and Mr. Tam Chi Ho Andy of Green House.
During the session, the alumni shared personal stories that highlighted the enduring spirit of the four Houses, the excitement of healthy competition, and the deep sense of brotherhood that has continued for over three decades. Their reflections emphasized how the House system not only fostered school pride but also played a pivotal role in shaping their character and leadership. They encouraged current Form 3 students to take up leadership roles, noting how the experience of serving as a House Captain builds crucial life skills like teamwork, resilience, and dedication.
A particularly memorable moment of the event was the alumni’s performance of the school’s 40th Anniversary theme song, “真心不變四十年.” This brought back cherished memories for many and reminded the audience of the school’s rich heritage. It is worth noting that Mr. Andy Tam and Mr. Brian Fung were previously recognized for their lyrical talents, having received the championship and first runner-up awards, respectively, for Best Lyrics in the original anniversary song competition.
The event was a powerful testament to the strength of the school’s legacy and the lasting impact of its alumni. It served as a meaningful reminder that the House Spirit continues to inspire unity, leadership, and excellence in every generation of students.
