Founded in 1955, St. Francis Xavier's College (SFXC) strive to nurture students with a spirit of family, brotherhood, and excellence under the guidance of the Marist Brothers. In 2025, we proudly celebrate the 70th anniversary of our founding under the theme "Brotherhood: 70 Years and Beyond." This milestone marks seven decades of academic and moral excellence, built on a foundation of unity and family spirit. Our year-long celebration will feature a variety of events that highlight the enduring bond of the SFXC community, honor our rich history, and embrace the bright future ahead. 70th Anniversary Activities
1. Kick-off Ceremony & Opening Mass
Date: 7 December 2024
The 70th Anniversary celebration began with a solemn Opening Mass and a Kick-off Ceremony in the school playground, bringing together students, staff, and alumni in gratitude and unity.
The SFXC70 Basin Feast was a memorable gathering where 100 tables of participants, including alumni, staff, and students, celebrated with traditional festivities, cherishing old bonds and forming new ones.
Throughout the year, distinguished alumni share their journeys and insights with students, inspiring them with stories of brotherly spirit and success in various fields of profession.
This ongoing outdoor challenge along the MacLehose Trail fosters teamwork and resilience among students and alumni, pushing their limits and strengthening the brotherhood that goes beyond generations of Xaverians. Participants are also supported by dedicated teams along the trail, exemplifying the enduring spirit of unity and connection.

5. Walkathon

6. Pilgrimage + Study Tour to Rome & Lyon

This is an inspiring journey as we travel to Rome and Lyon, connecting with our roots and retracing the footsteps of the founder of Marist Brothers, St. Marcellin Champagnat. This pilgrimage will provide an opportunity for reflection, learning, and deepening the bonds of brotherhood that have defined our school.
