National Security and Youth Development Forum" cum Greater Bay Area Youth Innovation and Exchange Programme

On 12–13 April 2025, ten of our students participated in the "National Security and Youth Development Forum" cum Greater Bay Area Youth Innovation and Exchange Programme, jointly organized by the Guangzhou Overseas Friendship Association, Nansha Overseas Friendship Association, Hong Kong Guangzhou Fellowship Association, and the Hong Kong Guangzhou Nansha Fellowship Association.

Over two days, students visited key innovation and cultural sites in Nansha, including Fok Ying Tung Memorial Hall (霍英東紀念館), the Tunnel Museum, and Innovation Bay (創享灣) — a startup hub for young entrepreneurs. They also explored advances in automotive technology at the GAC Technology Museum and toured the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou).

At the forum, students engaged in discussions on national security and youth responsibility, and visited the National Security Exhibition Hall to deepen their understanding.

A highlight of the trip was receiving a calligraphy scroll from a recognized inheritor of the Chinese Double-Outline Calligraphy (雙鉤書法) Intangible Cultural Heritage, featuring our school motto: "Gentle in Manner, Resolute in Action". This special gift symbolized the meaningful connection between our school’s values and Chinese cultural heritage.

The programme broadened our students’ horizons and inspired them to reflect on innovation, national development, and their role in the future.
