Closing and Kick-off Ceremony of SFXC Mentorship Scheme

The closing and kick-off ceremony of SFXC Mentorship Scheme was held successfully last Saturday, 17th January 2015. It started off with an array of activities including presenting certificates, ice-breaking games, and followed by a barbeque party. Over 40 of our senior form boys taking part in the Mentorship Scheme had the privilege of spending a wonderful evening with their mentors. During the BBQ, both mentors and mentees enjoyed very much the great moments in chatting and experience sharing. Mentorship is another way of learning beyond the textbooks. Like other reunion activities, the event bore witness to the warmth of the family spirit exhibited by all participants.

JA Company Programme – Trade Fair 2014

The JA Company Programme – Trade Fair 2014 took place on Saturday 13th December 2014 at Chater Garden in Central. The programme aimed to develop creativity and business acumen in students by launching their products or services in the real market.

Under the guidance of voluntary business advisors, Mr. Paul Ho and Ms. Grace Wong, 25 of our students who are currently studying BAFS or Economics formed and operated a mini-company to develop their entrepreneurship, teamwork and leadership.

The students raised capital, elected officers, produced and marketed real products or services, kept records, conducted shareholders’ meetings, and liquidated at the end of the program. As the Trade Fair was held successfully, students learned valuable experiences which were a great advantage to their future aspirations.
