Inter-school English Presentation

Students from St Francis Xavier’s College were invited to participate in an Inter-school Theme Presentation at Tak Oi Secondary School. The theme was about promoting creativity and critical thinking in Hong Kong schools and could be in any form, such as PowerPoint presentation, role play or drama production. The three Xaverians presented their idea on the topic in the form of a radio broadcast, which included witty retorts and catchphrases which would easily maintain the “listeners’” interest, not only in the audience but also if it were a podcast. Students were then asked questions from the other participating schools and had another time limit to respond. Although not a competition per se, all other schools congratulated the Boys on their exemplary and innovative presentation and on their outstanding command of the English language! It’s is clear that it is the students of SFXC who are the creative critical thinkers in Hong Kong schools!
