The Pre-S1 Summer Bridging Course was successfully held from 20^th to 28^th July. By our tradition, the English classes were taught by our Native English teachers while other lessons, namely Mathematics, Science, History and Geography, were conducted by our Form 6 graduates. 

It was encouraging to see that the Form 1 boys enjoyed their time at our school, and they were all active both inside and outside class time. The course came to an end with a graduation ceremony, during which awards to present to our boys with outstanding performances in terms of conduct and application. We hope that the boys still remember what Mr. Kihiro Ng, the principal of the bridging course, said in the closing speech by heart, which reminded them to make the most of the holidays and live out the Xaverian spirit. 

On the evening of 19^th July 2023, a warm gathering was held in the school as a kick-off of the Bruce Lee Exhibition, marking the 50th anniversary of the passing away of the martial arts legend, who was admitted to our school in 1956.  At the gathering, schoolmates of Bruce Lee, including Mr. Henry Fan Hung Ling, Mr. Chong Chan Yau, Mr. Stephen Chan Chi Wan, Mr. Teddy Chan Tak Sum and Mr. Cheuk Wai Kit, were invited to reminisce about the joyous school life back in the 1950s.

The Bruce Lee Exhibition was held at the covered playground from 19^th July 2023 to 23^rd July 2023. Despite a short period of display, hundreds of people, including Bruce Lee fans around the world, our alumni, parents, teachers and students, paid a visit and learned how the legend was enlightened by our Marist Brothers and his bonding with the school.

Our school is glad to be part of the series of commemorative events organized by the Bruce Lee Club.
