F.6 Last Day for Class 2020

On the 17th January 2020, our F.6 boys of the Class 2020 had their last day of lesson in school. Following our decade old tradition, the F.6 boys put together a farewell ceremony to say goodbye to their teachers, younger Xavieran brothers and their alma mater. With their class teachers, they formed a giant butterfly to represent the life-changing experiences they had in the secondary school and the commencement of their new life stage with outstretched wings. After this day, they are on their journey of final preparation for the HKDSE. Good luck, boys of Class 2020. Fight on with that Xaverian spirit!

Christmas Party 2019 and Casual Wear Fund Raising Day

On the 20th December 2019, we had our annual Christmas Party and Casual Wear Fund Raising Day. This year we held various events to help raise fund for the Caritas Hong Kong. As usual, the Student Unions put together a host of charity events, including teacher-student friendly matches in e-sports, quiz competitions and physical contests. The events attracted lots of participants and enthusiastic spectators. It was a day for fun and thanksgiving as we remembered the birth of Christ our Lord and also those in needs in Hong Kong.

Visit of Brother Tony from Australia

Brother Tony from Australia paid us a visit on 17th December 2019. He gave us a warm address before the Christmas, reminding us that we, students in Hong Kong, were privileged as we could receive quality education with lots of freedom and security, compared to those children in Syria who were struggling in their war torn country.

Let’s count our blessings before Christmas and don’t take our free quality education from the Marist Brothers for granted.
