On October 31st, 10 F.4 students visited the office of the South China Morning Post (SCMP) in Hong Kong. The students had the opportunity to learn more about the different departments and functions within the media company, as well as the history and operations of SCMP.
During the visit, the students toured various parts of the SCMP offices and facilities. They were particularly interested in seeing the equipment and setup used for the company's podcast production. Students gained insights into the technical and creative aspects of podcast creation, including recording, editing, and publishing.
The company visit was an invaluable learning experience for our F4 students. They were able to see first-hand how a major media organization like SCMP operates, and learn about the diverse range of roles and skills required. This helps to broaden their understanding of potential future career paths.
