On 24-25 April 2026, 118 Form 2 students participated in a two-day, one-night Greater Bay Area exchange study tour in Shenzhen, organised by Social Seed (社企苗) and Dynamic Youth of Greater Bay Area (大灣區青年新動力) under the theme “National Security and Me (國家安全與我)”. This was the second year our school has organised this programme.
During the tour, students attended a talk, had lunch and joined a guided campus tour at Qilin Middle School of Shenzhen Nanshan Experimental Education Group (深圳市南山實驗教育集團麒麟中學), one of our sister schools. They also explored science and innovation at Red Cube (紅立方) and visited Gankeng Hakka Ancient Town (甘坑古鎮).
On Day 2, students visited Shenzhen Longgang Energy Ecological Park (龍崗能源生態園) to learn about environmental protection and sustainable development. The tour concluded with a visit to Shenzhen Gaoju Innovation Base (深圳高巨創新基地), including an exhibition tour and a drone performance.
Through these learning experiences, it is hoped that students will broaden their horizons and enhance their national awareness and develop a stronger sense of responsibility towards the country.
