From 6 to 9 May 2026, we were happy to welcome a distinguished guest to the Marist Brothers and the schools in Hong Kong: Br Peter Carroll, the current Superior General of the Marist Brothers. He is Australian and was elected the 15th Superior General of the Congregation during the General Chapter last year in the Philippines.
Br Peter’s visit to Hong Kong was a heartwarming celebration of our Marist spirit. From sharing wisdom at the morning assembly to exploring the Heritage Room with alumni, his presence was a source of great encouragement to both the Brothers and the schools in Hong Kong.
Beyond his meetings with the school administration and his visit to our Brother school in Tsuen Wan, Br Peter also embraced the city’s unique energy at Victoria Peak. He especially cherished the time spent dining with the local Brothers, affiliated members, and alumni. Though the number of Brothers may be smaller now, he was deeply moved by the community’s vibrancy, proving that the Marist heart in Hong Kong remains as strong and welcoming as ever.
