Good morning principal, teachers and fellow schoolmates. I am Samuel Leung from Form 5C. As the previous speaker, Karson talk about future technology 3D printing. I am going to talk about the future world. There are lots of things that we can imagine if we are thinking about the future world. Transport, sports, computers, electronic gadgets and devices. But the thing is I don't really know what will happen to the world; I care about what will happen to you. Indeed, according to the dictionary, future means - “time that is to be or come hereafter”, which means the next second is the so you called future. 19 thousand graduates from your Form in each year in Hong Kong. Every single of them has their own future. Including you. Some of them may become a scientist, some of them may become an accountant. What or where do you think those super high-tech electronic gadgets came from? People created them, people invented them. You may say that yoru future is not any of my business, But genuinely, today I wanted to remind you all of one thing, your future is in your hands, you create it you control it, and it depends on what you do now.
Let’s assume that you live to be 80 years old, if I change that into in terms of hours, you have only got approx. 700800 hours remaining and you have already used couple of them already. The future is a thing that will follow you until the day you pass away. Fix your eyes on your future, the past has already past!
Thank you
Samuel LEUNG 5C (13)
